The wet running of cornice in situ is a specialist field which involves taking a template to match the original profile and applying plaster screeds and rules to the ceiling and wall prior to running a mould by hand. This method is used when sections of solid cornice are damaged or need to be replicated.
Decorative/paneled ceilings can either be supplied as fibrous paneled sections and fixed, if available,
or re-moulded to emulate existing pieces.
Panel moulds can also be copied or wet run on a bench to compliment or match the design of any ceiling.

Decorative ceiling domes can either be run in situ using lath and plaster techniques
or fibrous domes can be purchased and fixed.

There are many internal mouldings including: archivolt, impost, panel, salient angles, staff beads,
dado moulds etc.
DW Plasterers has yet to find a cornice, mould or finish no matter how detailed,
that cannot be restored or replicated by us.

Large decorative corbels can be hand carved or copied using traditional methods which can simply be cast in one piece.
Lime or cement architraves, impost and panel moulds are run in-situ as are decorative mouldings on
fence columns and chimney stacks.
