DW Plasterers specialise in the application of lime plasters to historical, heritage and listed buildings.
We have developed a solid reputation built on quality, reliability and a finish that is second to none.

Our work mostly involves using lime and covers all preparation for the use of natural materials.
This may be a master ceiling or a plaster repair; repointing old brickwork; preparing a room,
such as a bathroom or kitchen, before the appliances are put in; to rendering your entire house.

We work with wattle, daub, oak lath (sawn or split), lime putty or hydraulic lime, chalk, sand,
goat/horse hair and other materials depending on the existing fabric of the building being worked on.

Care is taken to establish what raw materials were originally used and to replicate these where possible.

Some of our work requires the use of modern materials
but always with a view to remaining in keeping with the existing fabric and looks of the property.
